The Christian life is a process which God is orchestrating through mankind to recover everything Adam lost in the fall.

In Ezekiel 19:5, the Bible talks about lost hope.

In Matthew 10:6, the Bible talks about lost sheep.

In Luke 15, the Bible talks about a lost coin and a lost son.

The message is very clear¾ as you pray and trust God, you can recover all that is lost.

Israel’s lost hope was recovered.

The lost sheep was found.

The lost coin was located.

The lost son came home.

The “No Limits Life” God designed you for means you too are to recover all that your sin, your disobedience, your wrong choices, and your sometimes innocent suffering have cost you.

God never intends for life’s challenges to steal from us the beauty and fragrance of His life within and through us.

Here is our guarantee of “No Limits Living” ¾

Isaiah 54:17¾ No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper…

Luke 10:19¾ Behold, I have given you authority and power over all the power that the enemy possesses; and nothing shall in any way harm you.

II Corinthians 2:14 (MSG): In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, he brings knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance.

We are always to conquer, always to triumph, always to be victorious.

Today's Homework: God-sized Assignments

The word “crisis” comes from a word that means “decision.” Sometime this word in Greek is translated judgment.

A crisis of belief is a turning point or a fork in the road that demands you make a decision.

You must decide what you believe about God.

How you respond when you reach this turning point will determine whether you go on to be involved with God in something God-sized. Or…you will continue to go your own way and miss what God has purposed for your life.

How you live your life on a daily basis is a testimony of what you believe about God.

The kind of assignments God gives in the Bible are always God-sized.

They are always beyond what people can do because He wants to demonstrate His nature, His strength, His provision, and His kindness to His people to a watching world.

An encounter with God will bring a crisis of belief.

When God speaks He always reveals what He is going to do – not what He wants us to do for Him. We join Him so He can do His work through us.

We are not supposed to be able to accomplish His assigned task within our limited ability or resources.

He always brings to pass what He purposes.

Our activities in His Kingdom can be divided into three categories:

What we can accomplish with our resources, talents and gifts.

What others can help us to do.

What we must depend on God to do through us.

When we are on His side, we will face opposition, but you will discover God keeps His covenant.

When we are faithful to God, we discover His faithfulness.

Weekend Recap: Pursuing God!

Psalm 27:8 (AMP): You have said, “Seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need].” My heart says to You, Your face (Your presence), Lord, will I seek, inquire for, and require…

Without the presence of God, there is nothing on earth to meet the needs of man’s spirit.

God’s presence is the source of God’s presents.

All of God’s provisions and protection are available only in His presence.

With His presence comes His revelation. With His revelation into our lives, we are empowered to live a “No Limits Life.”

Constantly, we are in need of an awareness of God.

The degree to which we live life without limits is proportionate to how full our hearts are with His presence.

When God is present, He is able to sustain and support what He energizes.

The most powerful, productive presence of God available to us is His personalized presence.

Romans 12:11 (AMP): Never lag in zeal…

“Zeal” means to burn with strong feelings, good or bad; capacity or state of passionate committal to a person or a cause; to strive energetically.

Zeal is about pursuit, the desire to accomplish some task or to obtain some object. Don’t lose your zeal.

When faint, pursue and you will live a “No Limits Life”!

Join us for our final message of the series this weekend, May 26th & 27th!

Prayer...it's not just an activity

From the war front in Iraq, we have learned that thousands of land mines were buried in the sand in order to kill and injure American and coalition soldiers.

Finding those who know where they are buried or using technical equipment is a safeguard against this weapon.

Life has some “land mines” that can wreck or destroy our lives.

Suppose you as a soldier had to cross a field full of buried land mines. A person who knew where each of them was buried offered to take you through.

Would you say, “I don’t want to be told what to do; I don’t want you to impose your ways upon me”?

Knowing that person could save my life, I’d stay as close behind him as possible. I certainly would not chart my own course.

Jesus has given us the church as an instrument of instruction, guidance and protection.

Anything significant that happens in your life will be a result of God’s activity in your life.

The fuel, energy and life of the church is prayer. Prayer is a relationship – not just an activity. It is designed more to adjust you to God than to adjust God to you.

God doesn’t need your prayers, but He wants you to pray because of what He wants to do in and through your life.

We often think of prayer as an outlet for expressing what we need – a cry to God for help.

But prayer is the asking of God to fulfill His needs through us.

God’s original thought is not the letting of believers to achieve their own aims through prayer, but God accomplishing His purpose through the prayers of believers.

God wants to meet our needs and will as it relates to His purpose.

Prayer is responding to God’s will since He seeks our cooperation with Him.

Ordinary prayer is praying from earth to heaven. Commanding prayer is praying from heaven to earth.

Will you be praying with me?

Patience Like a Honey Bee

To produce one tablespoon of honey, the bee makes 4,200 trips to flowers. He makes 10 trips a day each lasting about 20 minutes and visits 400 flowers. He will fly as far as 8 miles to find a nectar flow.

This is a true picture of patience.

In the New Testament there are two distinct words translated patience.

The first means long suffering and denotes self-restraint which does not hastily retaliate a wrong.

The second word means steadfastness, constancy, endurance, persevere, stand one’s ground.

Hebrews 10:36: “For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.”

There are three major aspects of patience:

Luke 21:19 ~ The Bible says, “In your patience you shall possess (win) your souls.”

Tried faith produces patience.

Patience produces fruit.

Patience builds up the muscle of our faith which gives us the ability to wait, allowing the Holy Spirit to make the necessary adjustments in our lives to accommodate our dreams and visions.

When we allow patience to have its perfect work in our lives, we shall be growing to become more and more like Jesus — perfect, mature, full-grown, complete, entire, perfect in every part, lacking in nothing, deficient in nothing, wanting nothing.

“Focus, Focus, Focus” - No Limits RECAP

It has been said that broken focus is one of mankind’s greatest curses.

The obvious solution to that is proper application of the Law of Focus.

Focus creates and intensifies desire. Intensified desire produces energy and creativity.

Focus determines direction. The mind leads and the body follows. Focus creates reality.

Focus is always a choice of the will. A positive focus pushes your mind into a positive direction and turns on a positive operating system.

When your mind is focused on positive things, thoughts and activities, there is no limit to how good your life can become.

God gave us a mind and He expects us to fill it with good things.

Proverbs 4:25-26 (MSG)

Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you.

When under stress, fatigued, and struggling with life’s challenges, don’t resort to speaking negative things and complaining.

Don’t turn loose of your faith commitment, your focus on living “No Limits” just because a negative circumstance comes your way.

Through everything He permits into your life, He is trying to unveil and reveal the treasure deposited within you.

“No Limits” living demands extreme focus so that we can endure, persevere, and finish in this race of life. Never change your mind about God’s plans for your life.

Tell us what this series of messages have done in your life!

A Tribute To The Spiritually-Empowered Woman

Proverbs 31:10
A capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman—who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls.

Nowhere can greater beauty and wise intuition be found in such rewarding capacity as in a spiritually-empowered woman.

I. Her life determines her worth.

Proverbs 31:10

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her worth is far above rubies.

II. Her household is centered on her diligence.

Proverbs 31:15
She also rises while it is yet night, and provides food for her household,
and a portion for her maid servants.

III. She establishes boundaries as to what is and is not acceptable.

Proverbs 31:17

She girds herself with strength and strengthens her arms.

IV. She enhances the skill of her husband.

Proverbs 31:23

Her husband is known in the gates when he sits among the elders of the land.

V. Her inner strength causes her to be a visionary.

Proverbs 31:25

Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come.

VI. Her words of kindness instruct, educate and encourage.

Proverbs 31:26

She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.

VII. Her life creates admiration and respect among those she touches.

Proverbs 31:28
Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.

VIII. Her excellence of life brings personal praise to her face.

Proverbs 31:29

Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.

IX. She is spiritually empowered by concentration on God.

Proverbs 31:30

Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

Happy Mother’s Day as we celebrate ALL Women!

It's Morning in the Kingdom!

Daily, the voices and messages of the world around us are seemingly filled with fears and anxieties.

Concerns about the future, as well as the present, are written on the countenance of millions of people.

There is little evidence of hope in the lives of men and women who wander aimlessly through life.

That is life on the one hand in America.

On the other hand, “It’s Morning in the Kingdom.”

God is still on the throne in heaven and earth is his footstool. He is still directing the affairs of mankind.

“It’s Morning in His Kingdom” here on earth. In Him we live and move and have our being.

With this “Morning” comes a fresh breath of hope, energy, excitement, and opportunity. Let your life today be filled with “The Morning in His Kingdom.”

If You Missed This Weekend's "NO LIMITS!"

Focus on the dark, you’ll get dark. Focus on the light, you’ll get light!

2 Corinthians 4:7 (AMP)

…we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.

Your trials, challenges, circumstances are permitted so that God can take you beyond who and what you are and into who and what He wants you to be.

God is always more concerned about your destination than He is about your location.

Israel limited God by their unbelief (Psalm 78:41); they forgot His marvelous provisions.

We should never doubt in the dark what God has revealed to us in the light.

Understanding comes to us when “The eyes of our heart are flooded with light” (Ephesians 1:18).

Never believe “The spin of Earth” over “The spin of Heaven.”

In photography, you expose a negative to controlled light to produce a picture.

God shines His light of revelation, wisdom, and knowledge into our hearts where we have allowed negative thoughts to deceive us.

Suddenly Heaven’s (light) spin causes us to know and understand the hope to which He has called us and how rich the treasure is inside of us.

Let God’s light so flood your negative that Heaven’s view (picture) fills your heart.

No Limits!

Can't Wait for You to Hear This Weekend's Message!

For each of us this morning it is still a relevant and probing question – Where are you?

It is not your physical, geographical location I am asking about.

Perhaps the second question will help to clear up the picture –

Are you in (under) your circumstance or are you in your position (your real identity)?

Your circumstance, your situation happened. You cannot change “what” has already occurred any more than you can change how it occurred.

Your way “out” of what occurred is not a matter of changing the “whats” and “hows” of life.

This is a matter of the change of the “who” in life – and the “who” is you!

While you cannot change the “what” and the “how” you can certainly change the “who.”

Regardless of circumstance your identity, your position in God’s kingdom, your position in your daily life does not change.

Your potential always lies in your position.

When your circumstances dictate your lifestyle rather than your position, then you will sell out your birthright (destiny).

Many of us are called but we can’t get to the place we have been called to because of our brokenness, distractions, and crippled condition.

In the kingdom, even our failures are successes. They represent the miracle that we survived.

Becoming Who I Am!
The choice we are always having to make is...

Becoming Who I Am!

The choice we are always having to make is between living the good life or the great life.

Greatness is not a function of circumstance; it is largely a matter of conscious choice.

Good is always the enemy of great.

In the discovery of our identity we experience our uniqueness. As we experience our uniqueness, we become invincible.

When you know who you are, what you are destined to do, then nothing and no one can defeat you except you.

When you know who you are, what your uniqueness is, then you can see what others can’t see, do what others can’t do, and become what others can’t be.

First, you will never discover your true identity until you experience a divine encounter with God.

Second, you must become blind to all options except the destiny to which you were created for. (Psalm 139)

Third, only through complete, consistent obedience is it possible to know your identity and accomplish your destiny.

The more experienced you become in your uniqueness, the more confident you become with your identity.

Become who you were made to be as you live a “No Limits Life!”

No Limits: Recap of This Weekend

What is the existing state of affairs in your life - your status quo?

Relative to your true life potential, what is your current plateau?

To live a “No Limits Life” and experience your highest potential, you must raise your expectations.

Ephesians 3:19 (AMP)

…that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence…

The word filled has the idea of being dominated by something. When you are filled with God (His Word, His Spirit, His power), then He will dominate your thinking, speaking, and doing.

You and I are created to be containers of God.

When your heart is 100% focused on who He created you to be, your desires and creativity, as well as your energy, will be exponentially multiplied.

As you go after Him, there will come into your life a “Holy Tension” between who you are, where you are, what you are and who, where and what He created you to be.

Your old status quo will seek to hold you in place as the fullness of God draws you into a new place of living.

Our dissatisfaction with the status quo in our lives increases as we see and envision a more desired state.

There exists a gap between our current plateau (C.P) and our full God- assigned potential (G.A.P). The desired state (G.A.P) will display its worth and value to you as you focus on it.

When you move into your God-assigned “No Limits Life,” people, resources, open doors, and opportunities come flooding into your life.

The Law of Expectation
We must live by the law of expectation....

The Law of Expectation

We must live by the law of expectation. Life is not filled with limits — just plateaus.

What you expect of any situation or person greatly affects your attitude toward that situation or person.

You must expect to become better, before you can expect to become more.

Your expectation level must be determined, not by your circumstance, your challenge, your lack, but according to His promise.

Ephesians 3:20— Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].

In life, we tend to…

Get what we expect from life;

See what we expect to see in life;

Hear what we expect to hear about in life;

Feel the way we expect to feel from life;

Accomplish what we expect to accomplish with life.

To live a “No Limits Life” and experience your highest potential, you must raise your expectations. Expectation is absolutely essential to a “No-Limits” Life. High expectations fully embraced will cause you to surmount any obstacle and live a “No-Limits” Life.

TEN WAYS TO MAKE YOUR VOICE COUNT AND BRING INCREASE INTO YOUR LIFE!

<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml>

What do you want to achieve and experience?

What thing, person, fear is hindering or stopping you from living life without limits?

You will never get what you want in life until you decide what it is you want.

Then you must expect to accomplish, achieve, and experience those desires.

Whether or not you expect great things or small things in life, you will receive what you expect.

Expectations exist in everyone about everything all the time. They show up in our attitudes, actions, and words.

Expectations affect our personal growth, spirituality, relationships, job performance, health, etc. It involves anticipation, hope, and trust.

Expectations affect the outcome, positively or negatively. Your optimism or your pessimism will be rewarded.

What you believe and how strongly you believe what you believe, will affect the outcome of any task.

Romans 12:2 — …Be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God…

Ephesians 4:23 — And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude].

Expectation is absolutely essential to a “No-Limits” Life.

If I expect to hit the golf ball well, then the outcome will meet my expectation!

Seeking After the No Limit's Life

How to stay optimistic and excited as you continue to seek the “No Limits” Life:

            1. Follow a godly mentor
            2. Hold fast when persecuted
            3. Stay in the Word
            4. Let God equip you

Is your life at this very moment reflecting a life of No Limits? Are you being challenged or limited?

The fact that you are still being challenged or limited is powerful evidence that there is yet within you great unreleased potential.

Unless your faith takes you beyond your understanding, you will never grow into your full potential.

Knowledge is required for faith to come. You will never understand that which you do not believe.

In the Bible understanding is the ability to look to the heart of an issue and to discern the differences at stake in the choices being weighed. It is penetrating insight, the skill of dissecting an issue into its component parts and seeing right to the heart of the matter.

Ephesians 1:17-18 (MSG)

15-19That’s why, when I heard of the solid trust you have in the Master Jesus and your outpouring of love to all the followers of Jesus, I couldn’t stop thanking God for you—every time I prayed, I’d think of you and give thanks. But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!

You’re on your way… don’t lose sight!

Join us this weekend for our “Seeing What You Believe”: Week 2 of “No Limits”!

Running the Race

Several members of theChurch participated in an event called Tough Mudder this past weekend. Looking at the pictures, it proved its name…Tough! Competitive-natured teams, grueling obstacles, difficult terrain, challenging temperatures… but the race must still go on.

If we are to walk in the fullness of God’s plan and blessing for our lives we must “run the race” that God has set before us whether it be easy or difficult.

Oftentimes, when we don’t like God’s course for our lives, we desire to run the race of our own choosing.

We prefer to see God’s vision through the eyes of our own will – we want to determine how the vision will unfold.

The level of our obedience and submission to God is equivalent to the level of blessing and anointing that God will flow into our lives.

Persevere – to continue a course of action in spite of difficulty, opposition, etc.

When the race seems tough it’s easy to look at others and wish we could run their race.

Proverbs 3:5- Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own understanding.

There is a term called “hitting the wall” that all marathon runners experience during the course of a long race.

Pain does not mean that we are out of God’s will. Oftentimes, pain comes because we are in God’s will.

We must remember God did not call us to just start the race He’s chosen for us, but to be great finishers.

Are you ready to finish the race?

No Limits!

What limits you today?

Who limits you today?

What is possible for you beyond your comfort zone?

What must you do in order to move beyond your current plateau?

In God’s original design, the sky was the limit for man. The possibilities were boundless; there was nothing beyond his reach.

To achieve “No Limit Living,” you must face the limiting factors (things and people) in your life, and choose to move beyond them.

At some point, you must accept and implement the law of responsibility in your life.

There is only one person responsible for the limitations of your life, and that person is you.

You must accept 100% responsibility for everything that is in your life. That doesn’t mean you caused it, but you choose to respond to it.

Stop the blame game and the victim stories. Whatever happens to you, you can always choose your response.

Victim or victor — it is your choice.

You must look from your present position/ plateau, toward your full God-assigned potential with passionate expectation.

Your “No Limit Life” begins at that moment.

You Are Special!

Psalm 139:13-16

I’m special. In all the world there’s nobody else like me. Since the beginning of time, there has never been another person like me. Nobody has my smile. Nobody has my eyes, my nose, my hair, my hands, my voice.

I’m special.

No one can be found who has my handwriting. Nobody anywhere has my tastes - for food or music or art. No one else sees things as I do. In all of time there’s never been anyone else who laughs like me, anyone who cries like me. And what makes me laugh and cry will never provoke identical laughter and tears from anybody. No one else reacts to any situation just as I would react.

I’m special.

I’m the only one in all of creation who has my set of abilities. Oh, there will always be somebody who is better at some of the things I’m good at, but no one in the universe can reach the quality of my combination of talents, ideas abilities and feelings. Like a room full of musical instruments, some may excel alone, but none can match the symphony of sound when all are played together.

I’m a symphony.

Through all of eternity no one will ever look, talk, walk, think or do like me.

I’m special. I’m rare.

And, in all rarity there is great value. Because of my great rare value, I need not attempt to imitate others. I will accept - yes, celebrate - my differences.

I’m special.

And I’m beginning to realize it’s no accident that I’m special. I’m beginning to see that God made me special for a very special purpose. He must have a job for me that no one else can do as well as I. Out of all the billions of applicants, only one is qualified, only one has the right combination of what it takes.

That one is me. Because … I’m special.

"No Limits": New Series Beginning THIS Weekend!

How much do you want to achieve?

What are your limits?
